Le Kensington Bistro and Rotisserie says...
Kensington earns more joie de vivre with Le Kensington Bistro & Rotisserie, a fiercely French newcomer that prepares local ingredients in classic French style. The second joint of the partners behind Harbord Street's Loire, Le Kensington sports a cozy atmosphere that summons up the Loire Valley childhood of its owners. Daily specials, chalked onto a blackboard, might include such bistro standards as confit duck leg in orange sauce, seared sweetbreads with peas and mushrooms, or skate wing meunière with... More fall vegetables and walnut butter. In addition, there's a charcuterie menu-all made in house-and the standing offer of a rotisserie chicken ($32 whole, $16 half), with frites, to be eaten in or taken away. If you're hanging around, wash down your meal with one of the eatery's French or Canadian wines, served by the glass.
