To get you in the mood for fall flavours, head on out to Soupalicious, happening today from 12pm-3pm (with sampling going until 4pm) at Artscape Wychwood Barns.
You'll be able to savour soups from participating restaurants, which include:
-Torito Tapas Bar, serving Spanish Fennel Soup
- Morgans on the Danforth, providing two soups - Mulligatawny Soup and Smokey Tomato Soup with Green Tomato Croutons (vegetarian)
Southern Accent, also has two selections - Onion & Turnip Soup (vegan, dairy/gluten-free) and Mock Turtle Soup, where ground beef is thankfully used instead of turtle meat.
In addition, many local caterers and producers will have ladles in hand:
- The makers of the insanely addictive (and made in Toronto!) No.7 Mexican Hot Sauce will be doling out Portuguese Caldo Verde (vegan & meat versions, with "supreme" options available)
- Daily Bread Food Bank's Catering Kitchen will have Roasted Butternut Squash Soup (vegetarian, dairy-free) at the ready.
What a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon!
