Growing up in the Loire Valley certainly has its advantages. For Jean-Charles Dupoire, that meant being constantly surrounded by fresh, local ingredients and subsequently watching, learning and of course eating, his grandmother's delicacies.
After completing culinary school in France, Chef Jean-Charles completed military training before venturing off and starting his professional career in the culinary arts. His journey has taken him to some of t
he finest hotels in the World, including London's Savoy Hotel. More recently, the JC Dupoire manned the helm at The Fairmont Royal York in Toronto, where he was Chef de Cuisine at Epic Restaurant, further solidifying his reputation as a Chef to be reckoned with. These days, Executive Chef Jean-Charles Dupoire can be found creating masterpieces at his very own restaurant while at the same time, paying tribute to his culinary roots in the Loire Valley.
