Phil's Original BBQ

Darling, there are two things that make me happy in life.

Being in the arms of the one I love under a full moon is one. Next is tasting the ribs at Phil's Original BBQ.

This place is really mom and pop, run by Philip and his wife Gloria. The food is real and authentic, and has a Kansas city, down-home taste.

If you love pulled pork, and I do, this place will make you dance with joy. Beef brisket is cooked slowly and with determination to be the best ever, and it is.

Debra, I do declare you have eaten six bowls of baked beans, what's in them? Whatever it is, the BBQ beans make cowboys cry with pleasure.

Everything here is slow-smoked and barbecued right in front of you.

Ribs are tender, meaty and finger-licking good, and are marinated for many hours with Phil's special ingredients.

Funny, I have searched all over America for that one great BBQ place, and I find it here in Canada. The BBQ chicken is very juicy, fresh and filling. Half chickens are only $10.99, and are served with coleslaw and beans.

And let me tell you about the coleslaw: It has a flavour of its own and is actually from Phil's grandmother's kitchen.

Phil's sandwiches are a big hit, as are his pulled pork, BBQ beef brisket and BBQ chicken.

Phil's is a great place to bring the whole family. Children are more than welcome and Granny will smile with happiness.
