Where can you find a great memorable hamburger, one that has never been frozen, uses excellent beef and takes two hands to hold? Burger Shack at Eglinton and Oriole Parkway is the home of the best darn burger in T.O.
This burger place is a little bit of heaven. It's run by two brothers, John and Joe, who want to know your name -- and will know your name before you finish your meal. The french fries are hand cut every day. Onion rings are hand dipped and fried to give
lip-smackin' delight.
They make their own BBQ sauce. The gravy is the real thing -- packages are prohibited. They cook up their own chili and chicken soup. Chicken Souvlaki is just as tasty as your favourite Greek spot. Okay, the big test: How is the Greek salad? It is fresh, crisp, flavourful, with heaps and mounds of Greek feta.
John and Joe, you have not discovered the fountain of youth. What you have given us is a burger that tastes of excellence for 27 years.
