Politica Resto Bar

People are always telling us about special restaurants. In the last month, five people have told me how much they absolutely loved Politica Restaurant and Bar. Nick Dominelli greeted us. He
is the owner, builder and recently ran for City Council. We loved this restaurant so much we stayed there for five hours. The food and ambiance are superb.

I have had ribs before. They are okay. The Mango Chili Baby Back Ribs is like an orchestra in your entire body. The Crispy Cornmeal Crusted Calamari vanished within seconds. It is original and superb tasting. Bruchetta is oven baked. That's just a start - my fine feathered friend. They add basil, garlic and olive oil on a goat's cheese pita. Tell the chef we are under his control. His magic is working.

Pizza here is what makes them tower above all others. The Genoa Ricotta was a show stopper. Vegetarians will devour the Penne & Mixed Grilled Vegetables. The veggies actually had crunch and the pasta was cooked within moments to perfection. Gloria Martin of 680 News and my best friend said it is one of her top ten restaurants this year.

I love chicken and you will fall in love with their Grain Fed Stuffed Chicken Supreme. Believe me, the potatoes were almost as delicious as the chicken, well almost. The Oven Roasted Rack of Australian Lamb makes an Aussie salute in pride. The Grilled Atlantic Salmon is served with a light citrus crust on a brilliant squash rice and a saffron and leek lemon sauce. Call my therapist, I am cured! I think it was the salmon.

For dessert here, get the Crème de la Crème - an absolutely dynamic mouth watering delicious voyage.

Nick, your dream was to create a restaurant where people felt like they were visiting your family. You absolutely did that. Oh by the way, those are my shoes at your front door.
