With nearly 40 years of combined experience in the restaurant business, owner John Tepelenas and his business partner Jim Parthemos know exactly what they're doing.
Naturally, that tradition of good old-fashioned know-how and in-turn excellence, promises to be put to good and continuous use at The Grille Restaurant and Bar.
The Grille may have a laid-back atmosphere and casual ambiance, but running the go-to restaurant on the bustling Queensway, which happens to be opened 24-7, requires a tireless work ethic and an insatiable passion to assure customers are getting the best at all times of the day and night. Considering up to 200 patrons can be accommodated at any given time, John and Jim need and certainly have ample amounts of both qualities.
For breakfast, lunch or dinner, The Grille is a very family-oriented restaurant but also caters to late-night party goers as well. "We offer casual, comfort food with reasonable prices", says John who takes pride in the fact that meals are prepared from scratch, using only the freshest and best quality ingredients.
He's not kidding. The Grille is famous for their sizable, filling breakfasts, New York striploin steaks, which are aged for 28 days for optimal tenderness and of course, their Full Rack of Ribs; one look at them and your jaw might just drop to the floor, as the portion itself provides the "wow" factor.
The Grille also focuses on catering and private parties. "We can accommodate anywhere from 10 to 100 people", says John who adds, "Our private party room is an ideal location for any special occasion, whether it be business functions or baptisms," and reservations must be made in advance. Prix fixe menus or custom menus are available as John and Jim strive to meet your group function needs with that good, old-fashioned know how.
