St. Lawrence Hall - The Great Hall says...
It's a timeless elegance and a touch of old school glamour that characterizes the great hall. Immersed in the delicate shade of salmon, the grandeur of the room is felt throughout the entirety of its 2700 square feet. Intricately detailed the ceiling is embossed with gold accents subtlety complimenting the curve of the flower moulding.
The expansiveness of the room, which will easily hold up to 200 guests, is filled with light from the column sized, arched... More framed windows. During the day, the sunshine is carried to every corner and the hall is a beacon to see the west and east views of the St. Lawrence Market Neighborhood. At night, it's the majestic glass chandelier hanging from the central point of the room, combined with smaller glass chandeliers that cast a glow to guests and patrons at the hall.
The double door entrance to the great hall is lined in a rich, red velvet carpet. Creating a path to a lounge decorated with large, overstuffed arm chairs painted in the same rich colour. A built in bar shares the space with a grand piano that rests just off the center of the room.
An architectural masterpiece coveted in Toronto's history, the great hall today is truly the place to celebrate life's special occasions.
